Our Courses

Our courses are the most important part of what we do. We aim to make the experience of learning as fun, as inspiring and as life-changing as we can. Our graduates tell us this is something we are good at and now, with continued funding, we are able to offer even more Courses and Workshops

Our programme offers something for all ages and range of abilities, from beginners to those more experienced, and we deliver from venues at the heart of your community. There really is something for everyone: from a 30-minute workshop to a 6-month back to work project.

We have listened to our graduate’s feedback and this year we have developed our Fullspoon course, added Woodworks, a carpentry course, and we are running a series of community learning sessions in St Neots (the Feel Good range).  The benefits of crafting to well-being is well documented and we have added elements of mindfulness, stress reduction techniques and personal reflection exercises to our popular Craftworks and renamed it Craftworks for Confidence.

Feel Good workshops offer the opportunity to be taught by GAP designers, tutors or local artists to create a craft project in a day to take home and enjoy. We even offer Feel Good Volunteering. Feel Good Family gives parents and their children the opportunity to learn new skills and techniques together in a fun way. And then we have Enchanted Days children’s workshops at Milton Country Park. If you went last year you’ll be sure to remember the fairies, magicians and knights running the craft workshops at the Wild Place.
